It is the wish of IGQ Golf College to establish strategic alliances with golf training colleges, college sports departments and golf clubs in China. We also wish to establish recruitment agents throughout China.

The college is seeking to establish co-operation and partnerships with educational organisations where students may be granted exemption from part of our courses where appropriate prior learning has been undertaken. It is envisaged that a maximum of one year may be granted for this prior learning off our normal two year diplomas. To obtain these exceptions students must have achieved good academic results and have a reasonable knowledge of golf and English. Preference will be given to students who already have playing handicaps of 9 or less.

IGQ also runs beginner and intensive short term courses for students wishing to improve their golf skills in summer camps which generally run from December to the end of February each year.

IGQ also offers pathways for students with satisfactory English language skills to attend either Lincoln University or Canterbury University and complete a bachelors degree in Sports Management or Sport and Recreation.

All IGQ students are equipped to join golf clubs and coaching organisations as qualified coaching professionals, and if their playing standard is good enough can consider becoming professional tour players.
